Women's
Circles
Women's circle groups are a tradition of the United Methodist faith. Small, unique groups of women who share similar interests meet regularly to develop a creative, supportive fellowship through Bible study, prayer and service.
Pineville UMC offers one morning circle that meets at the church in the Fellowship Building Room 1 & 2 and one that meets at the Dorchester.
Louise Ardrey/Mabel Cherry Circle
Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:30. Contact Louise Hair for more information.
WOW (Women of Wisdom)
Meets the third Monday of the month at 2:00 pm for the residents of the Dorchester. Contact the church office for more information.
Weekly Prayer Group and Prayer Quilt Ministry
The Prayer Ministry Group would like to challenge each member (or anyone) to join us in prayer either at the church or at home on Mondays at 11am. If you have a prayer request, please call the church office.
Throughout the year, quilters meet to create beautiful prayer quilts for designated members of our congregation that need our support. These quilts are then displayed so that they can be prayed over and prayer knots can be tied for each prayer lifted. The completed quilts are then presented to the recipient. Please call the church office to get involved.
Weekly Sunday School Classes
Every Sunday, there are weekly Sunday School classes on a variety of subjects. Currently we offer the following classes in addition to our Bible Study.
-
Emmaus Sunday School class meets in the Fellowship Building in rooms 1&2. This is a class of older adults that lives out faith and makes a difference through projects like Operation Sandwich, Coupons for Vets, and regular events outside of class. All studies are Bible-based and chosen by the class.

Seekers meets in Room 105 and includes adults of all ages and stages. The participants take part in a wide range of topics from Bible Studies to book studies, including topics like personal spiritual growth, family dynamics, and other relationship issues.
